What is a washing line?

The PET washing line refers to the complete recycling process of preparing the material for further processing such as pelletization. The system often starts with a de-labeling machine to remove the labels from the bottles. After de-labeling, the bare bottles would be size-reduced by a shredder or granulator. Through size reduction, the bottles would be transformed to flakes or granules. The smaller materials would then be washed and dried for contaminant removing and to ensure the high quality of recycled materials.
